About the author
Mr. Chambers was born in Panama of Jamaican heritage. He is a non-denominational minister who provides motivational talks to diverse audiences and is the author of God vs. Judaism & Christianity, a book on philosophy and religion based on the Socratic method of teaching. The book challenges readers to begin to critically examine their current beliefs and attitudes and to find their antecedents. In this way Mr. Chambers helps the reader to understand “free choice of will,” as espoused by Augustine and the freedom it offers in choosing a life of one’s own creation.
He is the co-publisher of Positive Tourism News (www.PositiveTourism.com) and co-producer of the annual Caribbean VeggieFest, Spa and Wellness Conference held in Jamaica, which attracts international audiences from the Caribbean and around the world. The conference showcases destination spas, wellness and health professionals across sectors. As a vegan for over forty years, Mr. Chambers has integrated the vegetarian lifestyle into the concept of the Caribbean VeggieFest, Spa & Wellness Conference. Founder of the first Spa Associations in Jamaica in 2005, Caribbean Resort and Day Spa and the International Medical Spa Associations; he received a mandate from Jamaica’s Ministry of Tourism in the same year to help develop Jamaica’s Health & Spa industry.
Mr. Chambers is a two term past president of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Lucea, Hanover, Jamaica. He is married to Sharon Parris-Chambers.
