You find yourself in the kingdom ruled by a king who is the least loved man in England. To get to him you will have to do something that was never possible in your old life in your old world in the future, and that is to kill any and all who find themselves on your path. The great thing is that you are not alone, there is Aelic who will be your queen once Brocknose has been conquered. About the author
I was born a brother of a twin sister. Seven children, i was number 6, Peggy being five minutes older than I. Not much of a student in school for reasons I cannot define. I would spend all my time listening to elders talk about their life concerns. In the case of my father that would be Unions and politics. Before the instant vote forecast, someone would have to stay up throughout the night making a tally as the votes came in. My father chose me to be the scorer the night of the Nixon-Kennedy election. I placed a piece of paper on the old Magnavox-console TV and wrote down each states and win/loss, and I was there when pops woke in the morning, he was very happy. After he left for work there were numbers etched into the top of the TV because of the #4 pencil I was using-forever. My interest in those days were rocks, science and space. After 45 years as an industrial craftsman, I retired and built a 3.500 sq ft Log home to pass time. Golfing , and cycling allowed me to maintain good health. Still alive @ 70 I began to write a simple short story which got stuck in my brain and would not leave me any rest. That short story became 447 pages and and four years later to get this far and put into print. Not perfect, but its all mine. What I didn't expect was that after several people had read it, the consensus was, "You need to write a sequel," which I have. That sequel is now in its third edit and soon to be ready for print. I have an additional three manuscripts which is in need of editing, ( science-fiction, murder for hire and the fifth which has a political slant.) To tell you more about myself I'm afraid that you would not find my life all that interesting. But Athelstan and his queen are extremely interesting.
