Overview

Gently Living is a beginning to becoming more open to oneself and the Divine spark within each of us. Through Loving-Kindness Meditations, Haiku poetry, and quotes from the author, the reader is invited to live life more gently.

Description

From the author: I lived with a short fuse for many years. I got accusatory, reactive and defensive at the mere notion of anything negative coming my way. This was a destructive way to live. My personal relationships suffered, the relationship with myself became disengaged, and my openness to God – well maybe not so great. Several years ago I was introduced to writing Haiku poetry, this type of poetry struck a chord deep within me. More recently I have been introduced to Loving-Kindness Meditation, again inviting me to get more open and go deeper. What you have are some beginnings of my path to greater openness and receptivity to the Divine spark within me. What Loving-Kindness Meditation, Haiku poetry, and simply listening has done for me is to help me live more gently. Gently Living has changed my worldview, but even more so my connectedness with God. It is this proverbial cup that has spilled over into all my relationships.
