The author has written this in memory of his wife who expired in Jul 2013. The author and his wife Geetha were married for 34 years. Their relationship was special. By writing a book on his wife the author has attempted to tell the world how nice, humble, simple she was.

Description

The book has several chapters that explain in detail how Geetha managed the various relationships she had with her family and friends, how she brought up her two sons and how she followed the religious customs with divine passion. The book also pays tribute to the maternal aunt of Geetha who herself was a widow and who raised Geetha in her village in a remote corner of India. The book has tributes on Geetha from her close family and friends. Throughout the book the author has added photos from various stages of Geetha's life.

The book was written by the author within a few months of her  demise. In spite of the trauma and emotions that he was going through the author continued writing and editing the book and brought it to completion in April 2014.

About the author

Born in Ambasamudram, India, Kumar Gopalan grew up in India and later settled with his family in Australia. He now lives in Brisbane, as do his two sons Abhishek and Prashant and their respective wives Narita and Noel.

In his spare time he enjoys reading. He also has a passion for writing and aspires to devote more time to this. He has written a few blogs on various topics in his blog site www.accordingtokumar.com.
