British born, Elaine Chaperon AKA Olly C, resides on the West coast of Canada on Vancouver Island  B.C  Besides being a  book writer,  she has compiled an album of songs  featured on  cd baby and iTunes called Eagle.(under Country) Olly began  writing short stories and poetry  when she was in her early teens.. and  followed  by writing novels in her later teenage years.  Everything was put on hold when she took time out for travel. Olly finally settled in Canada where she married, divorced , and raised her Three children. Although it took Olly a number of years in between juggling raising her family and going back to school to learn a trade, as well as working her own business, she has finally completed her first novel in the the Gateway to Paradise series..

She continues to work in her everyday employment  between writing her novels.  movies, commercials, groups theme songs and more. However her novels still play an important role in her life, and she is currently working on the second book of the Gateway Trilogy . New Horizons.
