About the author
While wearing the mild-mannered cloak of an insurance company owner by day, Aron Brock is a wildly hilarious writer by night.
Aron was born in Oakland, California – one of the few white boys in Oakland — and he’s still white to this day. He grew up at Bancroft and East 14th, in the ‘hood, right in the middle of only two other white people on the block.
“If I had to choose between never going fishing again and never telling stories again, I couldn’t choose. I’ll always catch fish and I’ll always tell stories. But it may be a 49%-51% split. Sometimes I just drink and party. And it’s good if I can come home without any bullet holes.”
“Good thing I sell insurance.”
