Friendship

This book follows the friendship between an older lady and a young girl who get to know one another over tea and roses.

Mrs. Daniels and Paula spend their afternoons after school having tea and learning about all the different places Mrs. Daniels has visited. Their friendship grows over cups of tea and bouquets of roses, and becomes an instrumental part of Paula's education, life, and family.

Paula Cottrell grew up in Texan small towns and has lived in many states around the U.S. She's met hundreds of people in her lifetime, but her friendship with Mrs. Daniels and the knowledge she passed on to her will always hold a special place in her heart. She is so thankful for the chance to share their story with beautifully illustrated pictures from Nanci Whatley.
