Overview
"Free Leah" is an illustrated account of the true story of Leah Sharibu's life and her abduction by a terrorist group. This book also encourages the reader to expand their prayer life, giving suggestions on how to get involved in supporting those who have been affected by terrorism and human trafficking.
Description
Leah, a bright 14-year-old girl, was living with her family in Dapchi, Nigeria until the early morning of February 19th, 2018. Leah was at school when her village was attacked by Boko Haram, a jihadist militant terrorist group. She was abducted by the terrorists and brought into captivity along with 109 other classmates. They were forced to cram into vehicles and tragically 5 of the girls were killed by suffocation and trampling. One month later, the girls were returned to their village… all except one - Leah.
