Footprints Across Continents – A Legacy of Faith and Family

By Dennis Wiens and Cindy Wiens

Overview

Footprints Across Continents – A Legacy of Faith is a tapestry of stories that trace a lifetime of faith, family, and ministry across West Africa, Middle East, and America. Written by Dennis and Cindy Wiens, this book captures the beauty and challenge of following God's call to serve across cultures, raising a family overseas, and discovering His faithfulness in every season of life. From the red dust of village life in Mali to the bustling streets of Middle East cities and the ministry networks of America, each chapter unfolds a new layer of their journey. The book reveals how God used unexpected detours, hardships, and opportunities to deepen their trust and expand their vision for what it means to live missionally. Readers are invited to walk beside them through moments of cultural discovery, language learning, and personal transformation, seeing how God weaves purpose even through uncertainty. More than a missionary memoir, Footprints Across Continents is a reflection on legacy, the spiritual, relational, and missional imprint we leave behind. Dennis and Cindy share how their worldview was shaped by the people they served, the faith of local believers, and the global friendships that still connect them today. Through laughter and loss, faith and perseverance, they model a life fully surrendered to God's leading. This book speaks to global workers, pastors, families, and anyone who longs to live a life that matters for eternity. It invites readers to reflect on their own stories, how God has led them, what values they hold dear, and what legacy they hope to pass on. Ultimately, Footprints Across Continents – A Legacy of Faith celebrates God's unchanging faithfulness through changing times and places. It's a heartfelt reminder that our true legacy is not measured in accomplishments or geography, but in the footprints of faith we leave on hearts around the world.
