About the author

Suzanne Florence has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an MBA from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She has been married for thirty-six years and has four children. She is retired from an electric utility company where she worked for over 36 years, and she recently became a certified yoga instructor. Suzanne has worked with a local civic organization to donate books to children in pre-school and second grades. Books have always been an important part of her life, and she credits early and frequent reading with all of her children as an important key to their successful adult lives. This book is a collaboration with her daughter-in-law Emily. Emily has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and it is truly her illustrations and hard work that brought this book to life.
