With the help of his instructor Miss Spout, Fin learns some basic skills that not only give him the confidence to learn to swim, but help him develop a love of the water.
About the author
Alexis Skelos is the supervisor at Long Island Swim School in Garden City, New York. Alexis has been teaching swim lessons for 20 years. In that time she has taught and mentored hundreds of instructors, and given thousands of swimmers the skills they need to not only survive, but thrive, in the pool. Alexis holds a degree in Elementary Education and Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary. She is excited to use her passion for writing and illustrating to help educate children and their families on the importance of learning to swim. This is her first published work.
