About the author
Deirdre Michele Thomas is a visionary whose mission is to ignite, inspire, and motivate others to discover their true purpose in life. As an author, speaker, and creator of two non-profit organizations, she is determined to impact her generation and the world by utilizing all of the gifts that God has blessed her with. With educating and empowering families and communities at the fore front of her agenda, Deirdre focuses her efforts on linking single mothers to resources that enable them to become emotionally, spiritually, and financially stable and restoring fathers and brothers back in their communities. She draws from the knowledge and education received from her Bachelors of Arts degree obtained at Rutgers University and the priceless life experience she has acquired along her journey which she chronicles in her second book titled "Triumph After The Storm" set to be released early 2015. Each day Deirdre strives to be the best version of herself. She is unwilling to settle for mediocrity or the limitations that society may attempt to impose on her. As a mother of two spirited children Samiyah-Michele (10) and Levi (1) she encourages them to dream big, love strong, and hold on to their faith at all costs.
