Fallon: Memoirs of the Reborn
by Laura Waide

Overview

"Stories are your anchor to this world of turmoil and strife; cling to them and they shall save you." Cat's words of advice to a new author were simple: write to live. After fighting a battle that her late husband unknowingly started, Fallon James follows Cat's advice and writes her story. But is 'The End' really as final as it seems? Love transcends the boundaries of life and death in this story of secret societies, the quest to control reincarnation, and Fallon's struggle to save the only family she has left from The Order's deadly grasp.

Description

Fallon James never knew about her late husband’s involvement with the Knighthood Red Order or its pursuit to control reincarnation.  In fact, she never knew much at all about his work until an unscheduled audit at the casino reveals an astonishing connection between Jackson James, the quest for immortality, and the bond of love after death.

Trying to protect her science whiz pre-teen daughter Kayla, Fallon gets pulled into a tug-of-war between a sexy one-man operation trying to stop Project Rebirth and the group that caused her husband’s death.  Despite her best efforts, everyone she loves slips through her fingers.  Although relieved that the Order’s project failed, she also holds out hope that it didn’t.

Sixteen years pass and Fallon gets a second chance with her family.  Happily ever after doesn't come as easy as she would like, though.  Kayla has been reincarnated, but her soul is entangled with another soul belonging to one of the project’s financial supporters.  Kayla’s kind soul weakens as the malevolence to which she is tied grows stronger. Fallon races once again to save her daughter before her soul vanishes forever.
