Keith Holyoak, Ph.D., is a poet and cognitive scientist. Raised on a dairy farm in British Columbia, Canada, he is currently a Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. A recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, Holyoak is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Association for Psychological Science, and the Cognitive Science Society. His poems and his translations of classical Chinese poetry have been published in numerous literary magazines in the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, Austria, and New Zealand.
