Extant

The Anger and division were too much to bare. Infamous mushroom clouds have nearly wiped out all of humanity. With little to eat, Adam finds himself hunted by a mysterious source. Faced with a barren, post apocalyptic world, Adam must rely on fading memories and a curious encounter, only to discover the world he lives in is not all that it seems.

Mankind has suffered a self-inflicted extinction level event. Adam hasn't seen another living human since his wife and daughter disappeared. Losing himself to loneliness and despair, the only semblance of reality is his trusty journal and fading memories… memories of a sentient Artificial Intelligence, and an old friend. Extant is a gripping sequel to Project Evelyn, and explores man's uncontrollable urge for self-preservation, if only through a search for hope. James Lahoe resides in Northern Phoenix, AZ with his wife and daughter. Growing up poor in a single-parent family, small town living helped to develop a healthy imagination early on. Such is life, learning to navigate through adulthood, and working through challenges, proved to consume much of his time. With the support of his family, he is once again able to tap into his mind's eye, and explore a creative story telling gift.
