About The Author

Olivia Grimes grew up in Lakeland, Florida and penned Everybody's Different as a part of a writing assignment during her middle school years. The idea for the book came from her firm belief that every person was unique and should be celebrated for their differences, not ridiculed or excluded. Her passions in life were family, friends, Disney, Tom Hardy, traveling, ice cream, and doing exactly what she wanted. She possessed a brilliant mind, a wicked sense of humor and an inclusive spirit. Olivia left this world way too early when she passed away at the age of 16 due to a tragic accident. In her honor, Olivia's family facilitated the publishing of Everybody's Different in hopes that her spirit of acceptance and inclusion will live on for generations to come.
