About the author


Roman was born and raised in a Catholic home that instilled strong religious values in him. Throughout his childhood, Roman immersed himself in the philosophy and imagery Catholicism provided. As a student, he attended both grade school and high school within the Catholic Diocese of Erie, PA. The enduring presence of Catholic Doctrine throughout his childhood and into his early adulthood would dominate his worldview. Following a calling, Roman joined the Army at the age of eighteen and ultimately served in combat. Roman's commitment to his devout beliefs and to The Army would clash an epic spiritual battles that would mature and refine his character. Roman's roots in Catholicism would be pruned and his worldview would be transformed into a passion for living for Jesus Christ. A desire to pursue a personal relationship with Jesus Christ paired with deep questions about the significance of his own life would become the fuel for his life's passion; furthermore, sharing Jesus Christ with those that desire an understanding to the enigmatic issues of life. Later in life, Roman became a father of two children. Raised by a single mother and a father imprisoned, Roman would find himself again embattled as a fatherless father. Weathering storms to become the best father he could be. All the while, dealing with failed attempts at reconnecting, reconciliation and offering forgiveness to his own father. Once again, Roman would have these worldly burdens lightened by Jesus Christ with answers in tow. However, the lessons would come with a priceless award. A deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ and a worldview that emitted love, forgiveness and hope. Furthermore, seeing every hardship and stronghold in his life working for good, coming full circle through his personal relationship with Jesus. Roman is the recipient of two Army Commendations Medals for heroism in military service. Roman has two children, a daughter and a son. All three reside in Texas.
