Overview
During the Covid lockdown of 2020, Chip got on his motorcycle, took his Fuji X100T and GoPro Black 9 to ride the empty streets of New York City. He tried to document just how empty the city was of daily life. The city that he loves had shut down. This is Chip's unique experience of an unprecedented time.
Description
Chip has been a commercial photographer for more than 20 years. During the 2020 Covid shutdown of New York City, he took his motorcycle out to explore what was happening to the city of 8 million people that he loved. He rode his motorcycle up and down the avenues and through the streets of near emptiness. The "City That Never Sleeps", "The City of Lights", "The Greatest City on Earth" had come to a stand still. Chip lived through this and documented the quietness of the city that he had grown to call home and love.
