Empathic Pastures

Empathic Pastures is something special, the journey of how i went from a literal coin toss with life and death. I posted heart of a poet on facebook that night of my darkest despair to see if anyone, other than family or friends gave a dam about me, had nobody said anything...the next morning I was taking my truck headlong into a big rig.

When I awoke the next morning, note written, prepared to depart into the ether,I checked my poem, and found not one, but 5 Angels had said, "WOW, can you ever write, Have you ever been published?" That my friends, was the thread that rewound my rope and has fueled every poem that followed. So if YOU THINK...a simple act of kindness and humanity can't change a life....think again. Angie said when she read heart of a poet it was like a 2x4, hit her and she knew if she didn't get hold of me immediately, I wouldn't see the next sunset. Now she and I are one, heart, mind body and soul, it didn't happen over night, took forever to meet even, but when we did...POW....we knew we are each others twin soul and flame...indigo children.....destined to find each other time and time again. Clayton has self published his first book of conscious poetry, Empathic Pastures.He often remarks how words can harm, or heal a spirit, and in his case, poetry saved his life. A simple poem posted on social media, caused 5 women to say he had value, worth and that life was worth living. Empathic pastures are the compilation of that journey from self destruction to resurrection and the steps in between. Its message's intended to heal those lost in their own despair and say, love awaits you, and it gets better.
