When people talk about their emergencies, they tend to omit the fact that they did not behave quite perfectly. I’m sure that part is left out inadvertently.

As professionals, we are expected to work tirelessly. To do our jobs cheerfully and perfectly; all while dealing with uncertainty. However, we will still strike a nerve, undoubtedly.

The author is a registered nurse who has worked in the emergency department for what seems like one hundred years. She broke her hand and was unable to work. So, time off she took, and wrote a book.

Hilarious This book is hilarious. If you work in the ER or related field you have to get this book. It points out the ridiculous things patients do. I can't believe some of the stuff but these things actually happen! Great humor and illustration. A must have for yourself or as a gift. Read more
