About the author
Richard Martin, a lifelong writer, makes his novel debut with "Don't Let The Past Remind Us Of What We Are Not Now." Though now retired, his professional years spanned diverse roles in teaching, broadcasting, and journalism, each enriching his storytelling craft. His academic journey is equally varied, with degrees from Indiana University and Webster University and online courses from prestigious institutions such as Yale, Stanford, The University of Edinburgh, and The University of Copenhagen.
Outside of writing, Richard enjoys community theatre, showcasing his talent in plays, musicals, and with his guitar. A Hoosier native, he relishes life in Indiana alongside his extraordinary wife, cherishing their shared joy of three children and six grandchildren. His novel draws from the tapestry of his life experiences, embodying his passion for story weaving.
