Overview
This script is a whole flock of literary gatherings that have radiated somehow from my psyche, as well as from various other psyches and visions of my fellow man. They are a collective mixture of observations, commentaries, opinions, ideas and quotes that I offer to the world mainly just to clear my brain of some of it's wonderfully esoteric clutter, in order to make room for some more of the same. It's quite a cathartic and energizing experience for me, fun even! And my hope for you as a reader is that maybe you also can have fun gaining some new insights through my illuminations. Now, I am under no delusion that you will see things exactly the way you do, or that you will declare me to be the 8th Wonder of the World. The fact that I published this book doesn't mean that I am always right, or that all of my facts are always correct. I do my best to do my due diligence in researching my proclamations, but my facts and thoughts are always due a good and thorough inspection on your part. Whatever, what all this means is that I have been thinking a lot these days, while observing all the life that surrounds me, things that draw my interest from both near and afar. I figure at my age that must be a good thing! Anyway, this is what I got so far. Whatda you got?

Back in High School reading did not come easy for me. I read slowly. My parent's put me in a speed-reading course, but I sort failed that. My collective assignments seemed to come at me like a Fire Hose when all I was looking for was a glass of water. One day, my English teacher handed out a book by George Elliot called SILAS MARNER, which was written in 1861. "Read the first three chapters tonight" he said rather sternly. Now he never said that this was a great book, or how he himself loved it, or why we would benefit from reading it. Eerily the books we received that day actually looked like they were printed 100 years ago. I gave it a shot, but I probably borrowed a friend's Cliff Notes just to pass. It would have been really cool if our teacher had told us that George Elliot was, in reality, Mary Ann Evans, in that to be taken seriously she had to pose as a guy. In those High School days I loved cars so it follows that the first book I ever read cover-to-cover was HOT ROD by Henry Gregor Felsen. That got me started, and I was on my way to becoming passionate about reading and embracing all of it's wondrous gifts. Who knew? Anyway, the reason I say all this is that I tried to make this book as easy to read as I could, Large Print and Many Pictures. Also, I cover a vast array of subjects, so as you read along I may at some points sound dumb as a bag of hammers, and then possibly even sounding quite astute at another. Whatever, by the way, after 65 years I did finally read SILAS MARNER cover-to-cover last year in 2025. Not in my top 10, but not bad at all!
