About the author
Keith Scurry comes from humble beginnings. Born in 1986 in Bradenton, FL and raised in Trenton, NJ to a preaching mother and a father who was heavily into drugs; Keith, the oldest of ten children, experienced the hardships of living in impoverished neighborhoods with little room for financial escape.
Growing up without the presence of his father, Keith's mother worked hard to ensure he had the things he needed. A defining moment for Keith was watching his mother work several jobs yet struggling to make ends meet. Keith couldn't stand seeing his family live paycheck to paycheck. He knew then that there had to be a better way.
Another defining moment for Keith came in August of 1993. While playing with a friend close to his elementary school, Keith climbed on top of a broken down train and was electrocuted. The shock sent 12,000 volts of electricity through his body, which caused burns to over 95% of his body and left him clinging to his life. Due to the extensive life threatening injuries that were sustained, it would ultimately take Keith years to recuperate.
Through the excellent medical care of doctors, prayers and well wishes from family & friends; Keith was able to pull through. With new insight on life, Keith accepted the Lord as his personal savior at the age of 11 and dedicated himself to work whole-heartedly for God.
This encouraged Keith to embark on several endeavors, always keeping God at the forefront. He became a Community Outreach Leader focusing on Gang Interventions. He also launched Jehovah Records in 2004, a thriving record label that combined his love for God & Music. The label helped to develop artist in the local community with the same musical passion.
In 2011, Keith was Ordained as a Pastor. Keith served his church and purposed within himself to not only teach love but to exemplify the love of Christ through service to others.
Though Keith was exceling, he often pondered over his childhood. He always wanted better. This led him to developing himself as an Entrepreneur - focusing in the areas of Leadership, Wealth Development / Management & Debt Elimination. Keith later received his financial securities licenses through the State of New Jersey - enabling him to teach financial planning, development, and financial literacy. Keith is currently licensed in all fifty states.
Coupling his passion for helping those in need and his desire to teach financial wisdom according to Biblical principles, Keith launched The KingDome; a ministry focusing on community outreach while developing the whole man - spiritually, mentally, emotionally and financially as encouraged by Paul. "My dear friend, I pray that you may in all respects prosper and enjoy good health, just as your soul already prospers." The KingDome teaches and encourages the participation of man to see the full manifestation from God.
Currently, Keith is an influential Author, Motivational Speaker, Apostle, Financial Advisor, Spiritual Mentor and Life Coach who is ambitious about teaching his message of Financial Freedom through financial education and wealth management. Keith continues travels throughout the United Sates teaching the biblical principles of money, prosperity and love; counseling both young and old on how to identify their purpose & pearls or gifts, and how to use them as a resource to enhance their lives.
