Overview
In "Doctor Sonnet's Fantastic," brilliant young neurologist Dr. Alicia Sonnet has developed a technique for curing a wide variety of neurological conditions that brings with it the unexpected side effect of enhancing the imaginations of those she treats—and especially her own. She must juggle increasingly wild adventures triggered by her imagination with the tricky suspicions of the medical profession, all while being rocked by her intensifying popularity in the press and the general public. She'll need the assistance of Brazilian crisis manager Paolo Almeida Soares when she sets out to establish a neurology clinic in the heart of a crisis-prone Central American jungle.
Description
In the world of neurology at the University of Washington—and far beyond—Dr. Alicia Sonnet is a rising star, launching a new technique that achieves phenomenal improvements in patients' disorders. Unexpectedly, the treatment triggers an unanticipated side effect that catalyzes major boosts to imaginations, especially her own. As word of these remarkable medical and non-medical properties spreads, Alicia finds herself in deepening troubles, both imaginary and real. In an expedition to establish a neurology clinic in the heart of the Guatemalan jungle, she turns to brilliant Brazilian crisis manager Paulo Almeida Soares for assistance. When a cataclysmic problem erupts there, she could become a source of invaluable help to the country, but she finds herself in dire circumstances requiring her own rescue first.
