Description In 1972 I became self-employed and, after building a successful business, in 1974 a friend invited me to join the local Lions Club, Plym Valley. I discovered a talent for organizing major events, many of which are described in this book.
About the author Born in London just prior to WWII, Mick (or Michael as insisted by his Mother) went to grammar school, left early to join the Royal Navy, left early to become a salesman and eventually ventured out on his own as a credit trader. He was invited to join Plym Valley Lions Club where he spent ten wonderful years and discovered a talent for organizing big events. Mick and a fellow Lion got together and started a tour operating business in 1979 which eventually forced him to give up the Lions as he was away on tour for much of the year and unable to participate in most of the events. With his wife Maureen he spent 23 years in travel eventually retiring in 2002 to winter in Florida and write. His two published books to date are Which Way Did They Go? and You're Not God You Know! which subsequently amalgamated as an e-book under the original title.
