Born in Manhattan, New York and raised in California, Yuri has always had an interest in photography, becoming her way of connecting and interacting with the world around her. Her interest in photography extended into school, joining her school yearbook where she is the Co-Editor in Chief. Through her lens, she aims to explore the meaning memorials and monuments hold for their communities and to bring their stories to a wider audience.
