About The Author

Gary Pedersen graduated the University of New Mexico with a degree in journalism in a department led by renowned novelist Tony Hillerman. His years in the field span from a position at the Albuquerque Journal to the Associated Press, in offices ranging across New Mexico, California, New York, and Mexico. During his tenure in Mexico City, he traveled to cover the wars in Nicaragua and El Salvador as well as the unrest in Guatemala. Now retired from journalism, Gary resides in San Joaquin Valley where he runs a general contracting business and spends his free time writing crime thrillers inspired by the stories he witnessed.
