The poems in this collection are raw revelations of truth, desire, pain, and triumph and flow seamlessly together to form a symphony of emotions that sing from the pages.
About the author
Raven Shelby is a lover of culture, arts, and language. She holds a dual Bachelors of Arts in English and Philosophy and a Masters of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Management. She is committed to her work in Critical Race Theory and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through creative writing, story-telling, and dialogue. Raven Shelby is from Prince George's County, Maryland and lives there with her son, Mecca; their two Yorkies, Bruno and Braxton; and her very close-knit family.
