Overview
In this book, you will discover the life of one survivor of sexual abuse and how she repeatedly started over while learning things that made her smarter, stronger, and more peaceful? This trilogy is about how one victim dealt with the devastation caused by multiple cases of sexual abuse, her search for love and healing, and in Book One, her life's journey up to her 33rd year between 1934 to 1966. How about you? Are you a survivor, too? Then, you may have something in common with the heroine in this autobiographical memoir trilogy, who wrote about her abuse experiences, survival, life in between, relationships, spirituality, and healing. You may want to discover fascinating facts about this heroine's life and resilience, learning how other survivors made it.

About the author
Born in 1934 in Newark, Ohio, the author has been interested in writing since she was 10. At 16, Penny wrote her first unpublished story for "True Confessions" magazine. In the mid-1960s, she wrote part-time publicity for a television program and later worked as a Public Relations Assistant in the WKYC-TV Public Relations Department. Penny was too busy with life to submit her writing until 2012, when she submitted a personal essay, "Not My Will, But Thine Be Done," to "Venture Inward" magazine. The essay was published in their Volume 28 Number 4 issue soon after. Penny is a letter and journal writer; and has partially used those two mediums and her memory to tell her story in "Developing Resilience."
