Detective To Disciple

Victor Epps didn't know God during his twenty plus years in the police department. He never belonged to a church, never cracked open a bible. Through those years of narrow life and death situations, Victor credited his escape to his training and courage. It would not be until 2009 that he looked back on his life in a different light. He would accept Christ into his life, be baptized, and begin to walk a new life.

"Detective to Disciple" is the story of his immersion in the bible and his new life which he lived according to the scripture. As it turns out, God was with him the whole time.

Victor Epps is a retired Organized Crime detective DC Police Department and retired midlevel Insurance Fraud Regional Director. He is a former prison ministry coordinator, bible study teacher and mentor for youth in detention centers 2010 to 2018. He is the recipient of the 2011 Proclamation, Community Activist Clayton County Board of Commissioners and a 2016 Inspirational Sports Hall of Fame Inductee, Fayetteville Georgia.
