Description

A comprehensive look into the life and career of Architect John Henry Felt, who started his career in 1891 in Greenfield, Indiana before moving his firm to St. Joseph, Missouri for about ten years and then to Kansas City, Missouri for about 20 years. Felt's firms designed residences, apartments, commercial buildings, and even baseball parks. The firm's specialty, however, was public education buildings from one room schoolhouses, high schools, and colleges and universities across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Montana. The book contains over 150 images of structures designed by Felt and his firms, and comprehensive list of over 330 designs attributed to Felt.
