For over three decades, Julie has led, taught, and collaborated with thousands of individuals—employees, college students, clients, and colleagues alike —across dynamic roles as a leader, consultant, teacher, and mentor. An accomplished speaker and presenter at conferences and business events, she shares her expertise on leadership, talent, and career development. She directed the multi-hospital award-winning food and nutrition program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and Julie was awarded the Silver Plate for Healthcare Foodservice. As the Director of Performance Learning at Ruck-Shockey Associates, she helps clients grow their leadership talent and align their priorities and programs for tangible business outcomes. Julie also teaches college students to embrace their capacity for learning and leadership in the Masters in Dietetics and Nutrition program at The Ohio State University. Julie's career journey now spans talent development, and she has become a Certified Professional in Talent Development. Her experiences have taught her a fundamental truth: at the core of sustainable personal, team, and business success are people who THRIVE at work—driven by intention, bolstered by strong relationships and networks, and supported by leaders who cultivate trust, both earned and given, in an environment that promotes learning, growth, resilience, and contribution.
