For the last 35 years, my career has been in the film industry, specializing in visual effects. This has allowed me to work in various film genres, with a wide array of directors, from dedicated storytellers like Francis Ford Coppola to visionary image makers like George Lucas. It's been a blessed journey while planting the seeds to tell my own story.
I've always been attracted to mechanical things and speed and have raced competitively since I was 14. This novel allows me to combine my passions; storytelling and racing. It also allows me to look deeper into my personal story and disguise those revelations through fictional characters. Much more comfortable that way.

Description
After the car accident that killed his wife, Joe Muncie realized his life had been pointless up until then. Years of drug abuse, violence, and the despair that came with it had been washed away with the love of a woman. Set in San Francisco in the early '90s, with the underground street racing scene as a backdrop, Joe struggles with the conflict between the darkness he loves and the man he wants to become.
