Deliver Us From Evil

Overview
“Deliver Us from Evil” is a collection of my writings throughout the years, as my spirit wrestled against the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness (Ephesians 6:10-12). You will find some writings uplifting while others give warning to stay close to God, and the consequence for neglecting our relationship with our Heavenly Father. The short time we are on this earth is nothing compared to eternity, but many strive to make this life comfortable while never thinking of what lies ahead. Will you be comfortable? Will you be happy? Will you be in severe distress and torture? The decision is all yours!
Description
There is a way of life that seems right to us, but is it God’s way of living? We must be ever aware that there is a wrong and a right way to live. There is a wrong and a right way to think. There is a wrong and a right way to speak. That evil is ever present to try and get us off track, following a direction that is totally useless. The only thing that matters is this; “What does God have to say about it?” If you know what God says about a certain subject, that knowledge overrides everything I might think or feel! Study God’s Word so you will know where He stands! Pay attention to what you do, say or think! Our Heavenly Father knows all, and we will be judged by our own words. (Matthew 12:6) Our God is not willing that any should perish that is why He sent His Son to pay the price for our sin. (John 3:16) We must accept His payment as payment in full and take the gift of life that is freely given to all. If we neglect to take care of this manner in this life we will have all eternity to regret.
About the author
I’m a wife, mother, grandmother and proud of it! I loved having little children around and really enjoy my grandchildren now. When I was between the ages of 10-12 years old I would pray to God that He would put a baby on the doorstep for me. I wanted a child of my own! It never happened, but my mother was blessed with children in her older age so I feel my payers were answered in another way. Thanks Mom! Years later I was blessed with a daughter of my own! Praise God! I named her Christy. What a wonderful little girl! The creativity in me started to spark! Eleven years after her birth; God blessed our family with another little girl, Valorie! She was a miracle baby! First of all it was a miracle of her conception. My husband and I were trying for five years and nothing! One night at church our Pastor asked for the person to come up for prayer that was praying to get pregnant. My husband was pulling me out of my seat to drag me up front. Little did he know that I had stopped praying a while back as I was now thirty-four and did not want to get pregnant past the age of thirty-five. You know the rest of the story…I gave birth! At delivery there was an emergency and she was quickly taken. All my husband and I saw was a blue baby with no life as she was rushed into another room for the Doctors to work on her. Minutes later we heard her cries and knew that God had brought her through! I thank God for the family He has given me! I also have always believed that with God all things are possible. In 2007 I had an auto accident that changed my life in so many ways. Due to a head injury I suffered from loss of memory. I knew who my children and husband were, but what I forgot was how to do things. I now felt stupid! I knew I should know how to wash the clothes and do the dishes, but I did not have a clue. If I remembered how to do something I could not put the steps in the right order. I remember this test I was given in the doctor’s office. I was given pictures of a lady feeding her dog. My job was to put the steps in order. I became very upset as I knew how to feed a dog! At least I knew that I should know how to feed a dog, but I could not put the pictures in their proper order. I go into detail in a book that I wrote with the help of God, “Steps to Achieving God’s Vision for Your Life.” This book has the steps that God gave me to follow to obtain my healing. As I continued to get better I realized that, what He gave was what I had already known before the accident. What the injury had taken away; God had restored to me. This injury caused me to learn to trust in God and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. I had to listen to that still small voice and not listen to my head as I did not recognize my thoughts or feeling, they were lying to me. Thank God that he has brought me through a trial of great magnitude! I now look forward to the future and its possibilities, for I am loved by God and so are you! God has great plans for you! Start believing that you are the apple of His eye, and that He is your loving Father wanting to give you good gifts!
