Part I – starts with learning the basics of cooking and cuisine from India, with a variety of a dozen different sections of traditional type dishes -- drinks, raita salads, rice, dahl, curries, special entrees, chutneys, unleavened breads, and sweets.

Part II has a half dozen different traditional cuisines from our favorite cultures around the world with a smorgasbord of soups, salads, homemade dressings, condiments, sauces, desserts, breakfast and dinner recipes and dishes.

About the author
Scott Peterson was born and raised in the Seattle area by parents who enjoyed cooking natural health foods. Scott has been a vegetarian cook since 1979 cooking for meditation groups, guests, and courses mostly in North America, and India, including three years cooking in a meditation ashram in the Himalayas. This book is the culmination of Scott's cooking experience creating and revising recipes incorporating Ayurvedic principles of healthy living with cooking traditions around the world.
