About the author
Raised during the 1931 depression era, Aileen witnessed the twentieth century's entree into the modern, industrialized world that achieved civil liberties for all citizens and the vote for women. As part of the newly emancipated workforce and her Hempstead, Long Island high school diploma in hand, Aileen entered the predominately male world of manufacturing. Throughout those manufacturing years, Aileen's original office clerk status rose to Production Control Manager and Master Scheduler. At age seventy-five, her children and grandchildren, now adults, Aileen retired to take on the world of travel with solo abandon.
In 2016, at age eighty-five, Aileen was ready to reinvent herself. She published her memoir: "According To Aileen," Ten Decades That Changed The World. With the onset of today's fast-paced twenty-first century, Aileen realized her great-grandchildren were to be deprived of their glorious heritage, and she was the remaining voice to recreate the nobility of their immigrant ancestors; who else would?
In 2017, Aileen's writing turned to her lifelong reading pursuits: themes of mystery and romance. Aided by her worldwide travel, she published "Ten Days To Die For." A high seas drama aboard a cruise ship that entertained the reader with romance, murder, and an unexpected blockbuster ending to satisfy the sated mystery lover.
Today, 2018, Aileen borrows Jack and Annie Armstrong to continue her tales of covert action, but now the mayhem occurs at the Washington, D..C. Naval Yard. "Dead Man Seated," her charming victim, provides fun and mystery for jack's undercover team while unsuspecting political corruption at the highest level invades the once peaceful Oval Office and the lovely Madam President.
