Overview

In this first of a series of devotional eBooks, Marsh White takes his readers through a one month, day by day, joy-filled journey into GOD’S INCREDIBLE GRACE FREEDOM in the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST. Marsh’s humor, unique conversational insights, and thought-provoking questions will help his reader embrace grace, receive God-sent encouragement, and settle his or her mind into its rightful residence . . . in the heavenlies.

Description

Have you longed to live free? Free of an ordinary life? Free to have that walk with God that is an inspiring, contagious life? The life Jesus Christ won for you? Marsh White's passion is to help his listeners and readers understand their IDENTITY IN CHRIST, so that, as he describes it, we can "walk it out." We can retain that sense of "whose I am" in the highs and the lows and the everydays of life. Why is this so important? Because no one can consistently behave in a way that is inconsistent with the way he perceives himself. If you THINK you’re a no good bum, you will live like a no good bum. But if you see yourself as a child of God who is spiritually whole and alive in Christ, you will begin to live in the victory and freedom that He lived. Next to the knowledge of God, a KNOWLEDGE OF WHO YOU ARE is by far the most important truth you can possess. So what can happen as you journey though the "day by day GRACE" devotions? Things that are negative--the untrue ways in which you may be seeing yourself--will be exchanged for the way God sees you! This is the transforming process where negative behavior takes a hike, and IN CHRIST freedom grabs hold. So enjoy the humor, the insights, the on-the-way engaging texts as God's Spirit sets you "free indeed." "For if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)

About the author

From the remote farming community of Mulberry, Texas, to football pro for the New York Giants, Marsh White says he can closely identify with Michael Oher, the young athlete portrayed in the movie "Blindside." After injuries prevented playing football, Marsh continued his career as a coach, and then accepted the challenge of advanced education and missionary work on other continents. In all this, eventually realizing that his ultimate desire is to help others learn who they are IN CHRIST. Marsh's Masters in Theology sandwiches itself well between the lines of his southern conversational style of radio broadcast and writing, and in his hints of humor in the daily devotions he shares with thousands via his online sites. Along with traveling abroad, Marsh enjoys life in Rowlett, Texas, where he leads home Bible studies, offers hospitality to those in Catch 22 situations, gardens, and indulges his penchant for forging new friendships.
