Dark Matter is the second in the Vigilante, Inc. series and picks up nine months after the conclusion of Volume One. The powerful psychic, Sylvia Swafford has been kidnapped into another dimension and her influence in her home world is wearing off. Xavier Key, founder of Vigilante, Inc. is going to have to finish up the building of New America the old fashioned way. Brute force. The story also follows Sylvia as she tries to return to her home world, only to be frustrated and guided by some unseen hand. When she finally discovers and confronts the being responsible for her misadventures, she will need all her strength and a lot of luck because the outcome of that struggle will determine the fate of everyone on her home world.

About the author

Stephen R. Pell holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Mass Communications. His resume includes radio announcer and professional photographer/videographer. He and his wife currently own and operate HaleyMAX, a production company specializing in commercial photography and corporate/industrial video projects. Pell has written and produced hundreds of radio and television commercials over the years, as well as many documentary and corporate projects. Pell served as Chairman of the Board for his local Chamber of Commerce in 2005 and has done volunteer work for his local United Way for over ten years. He served on his local United Way Board of Directors for three years. Pell, a Vietnam era Marine "grunt", lives with his wife, Betsy, and their two golden retrievers in Athens, Tennessee.
