Bishop Dr. Marlon O'N Husbands is the Founder and President of Sanctuary Ministries International Inc. and Senior Pastor of Sanctuary Empowerment Centre, where he has served for the past 21 Years. He serves as a Part-Time Lecturer in the department of General and Continuing Education at the Barbados Community College and has both a Bachelor of Theology Degree (Hons.) and a Masters degree with a Major in Counselling. He also holds a Doctor of Divinity degree from Master's International School of Divinity, Indiana, U.S.A. A professional Counselor with over 21 years experience, Dr. Husbands has served as a Counselor within the Magistrate Courts system of Barbados and as a Chat Room Counselor with the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC TV), Barbados, W.I. He describes himself as devoted to family and his marriage of 23 years to Co-pastor Rev. Suzette Husbands is a testimony to his commitment. Together they have four sons, ages 20, 17 and twins 14 years old.
