Description

ATZLAN. A land built of independent city-states. Each a political entity of its own...yet the handful of mega-rich that generate most of the economy throughout the continent blur geo-political lines. Unhealthy mix of business and lawmaking, in Vai’s opinion.

Vai lives in the City-State of Avgo, where she runs a small temple mostly making coin off of teaching beginning to advanced levels on crystal activation. She’s an Animist, attuned to all vibrations of nature, but is especially an expert in working with crystals. She can actually make them glow. And unlock their inherent power.

A bit of a boring job for someone of her mastery level. But it pays the bills. And she’s been trying real hard to live the “straight life”...ever since she became a mom three years ago.

Until it gets personal. And her past resurfaces in the form of a mercenary attack on her temple. She knows what they’re after: the kodai no [Ancient One] crystal she had stolen from Xom Power Plant...a night she remembers well.

There’s a map of eight of them — kodai no sacredly hidden throughout Atzlan by people from a different time and space — "The Forgotten Land." Each holds a special attribute — a power as yet unknown in Atzlan. She had found all but three of them...

...And if they want to know what the kodai no can do, she will “show them”...

About The Author

MUI FAH is the name gifted to me by my Tai-Po and Tai-Ghung. I learned it meant "Plum Blossom", and that the Plum Blossom "blossoms in winter." Got a tattoo of it at 25 so I'd always re-member. Hehe...well, that was long time ago already, and...not too many blossoms. But this one was worth waiting for...launching this script is the bold splash of red petal against a winter that at times seemed so dark...and I'm so happy to share it with you :)
