About the author
I was 16 years old when I started my weight loss journey, and 41 when I decided I'd had enough. Although I was physically active and ate a balanced and healthy diet, I could never seem to lose the weight. After having my son, I decided it was time to get healthy and embarked on a 6-month journey to lose 61 lbs. I was able to hit my goal and maintain the weight loss, and was inspired to write this book and help others on their similar journeys.
