I healed myself through food. After suffering from a barrage of mysterious illnesses that left me bedridden, I was able to recover with the help of clean, simple eating. Removing all foods that were causing me harm was not easy. I had a hard time finding recipes that fit my new dietary lifestyle needs and were still delicious so I created my own. This collection of recipes are easy to prepare and most are very quick. I use these recipes as my every day meals. When I became a nutrition counselor, I found these recipes worked amazingly well for my weight loss clients especially those who suffered from type II diabetes. The anti-inflammatory and clean food aspect of these meals helps keep blood sugar levels balanced with the high fiber and protein content and my low use of simple carbohydrates. The best part is these recipes are familiar favorites and ones that you will be happy to share with friends and family.
