Watching my mother in the kitchen, God rest her soul, made me realize that a kitchen was not just for cooking - although, I would spend countless hours watching and learning from her - this was a place where I learned how to draw and craft. I did homework, celebrated parties, wrote letters, sent invitations, wrote Valentine's cards, laughed, and sometimes even cried while going through growing pains and much more. Think about it, how much of our lives do we spend in the kitchen and what incredible memories do we carry with us?
