Description
Lovers and Others is a television drama in trouble. The head writer, Roly Zimmerman, is a former playwright haunted by recurring visitations from his recently buried father, while trying to deal with the breakdown of his marriage to actress wife Annie. Hank the executive producer is obsessed with past life experiences and with his sister Leonie who, he is convinced was the great love of his life, in a previous existence. Naomi is the recently promoted Head of Production planning a coup that would lead to a future for the show that no longer involves Roly, or Hank, with whom she has been sleeping - or for that matter Ayesha, the teenaged star of the show who is being stalked by a deranged fan, who may just turn out to be a co-worker with an axe to grind. Lover and Others, is a televsion drama in serious trouble.

Ray Harding, a published playwriight and film writer, worked as a writer in the Australian Televison Industry for twenty five years, before talking uo his current position as a Lecturer in Theatre/Media at Charles Sturt University. For seven years he was head of the Script Department of 'Home and Away'
