Conversations with Love

What does love mean to you? How many different ways do you use the word? Since love has such a broad range of meanings, it can be defined in many different ways. The love for God can be different than love for family, a friend, or a spouse. In Conversations with Love we express in poetic dialog the four Greek forms of love, Storge, Phileo, Eros, Agape as well as Feast, a form we've added.

In Conversations with Love we express in poetic dialog the four Greek forms of love, as well as Feast, a form we've added. Storge, motherly love of offspring and family. Phileo, brotherly friendship love. Eros, passionate, sensual, romantic love. Agape, spiritual Christ-like love. And finally, Feast, a joyous love of food. Our hope is to enlighten the reader through poetry and prose about these different kinds of love.

Angela S. Clayton writes edgy, passion- filled poetry that comes straight from the heart. Originally from Ohio, she moved to Los Angeles at the tender age of 12, where she was able to spread her wings and embrace her passion by becoming a dancer with a local company. Because of her love for the Arts, she quickly found herself amongst the company of various artists, writers, and poets. So naturally, at the age of 15, Angela began writing, mostly poetry. Her educational background includes a BA in English and an MHA. She is still currently residing in southern California, humbly, with her 15 year old son. When she is not writing sultry poetry and prose she enjoys amateur photography, fitness, and spending quality time with her son. Conversations with Love is her debut publication.
