Overview
"Comics Galore" is the combination of a comic book and coloring book, a comic coloring book. Each of the 50 pages has a short comic that is usually 4 panels long where you can both color in characters and make your own dialogue and stories using the speech bubbles as well as the thought bubbles, text boxes, and even the bonus drawing activities. "Comics Galore" will appeal to fans of adult coloring books, comic fans with families, and aspiring artists who may want to make their own comic coloring book.
Description
"Comics Galore" is the first of its kind: a comic coloring book. The interactivity of a coloring book is combined with the format of a comic book for a very unique experience. You will have access to not only a variety of different characters to color in, but also various ways to create your own dialogue and story. Thought bubbles, speech bubbles, text boxes, and bonus drawing activities will allow you to express your ideas of the many different characters and scenarios in the short, typically 4 paneled comics on each of the 50 pages without overwhelming people who are newer to comics. Fans of adult coloring books will enjoy the detailed and distinct characters while older fans of comics will have more to share with their children and grandchildren through the speech bubbles and text boxes. Aspiring artists will also have inspiration for possible future works or even make their own comic coloring book.
About the author
Terence Moronta is an artist from New York who uses his artwork as a way to connect with others. This childhood hobby is being turned into a career that involves working with people in other art fields to create opportunities for other artists in the future. He enjoys creating various character and weapon designs that have distinct silhouettes. He also enjoys sharing the fun of that process with the viewer through his work. The majority of his work can be seen in a multitude of sketchbooks filled with a repetition of these various designs showing a commitment to exploring these ideas. His primary medium is simple paper and pencil with a preference for mechanical pencils to get the finer details. He has also experimented with other mediums during his time at college such as oil paint, watercolor, ink, and even 3D printed forms. His main goal is to move to Texas to create a comic coloring book called "Comics Galore". This book is a project that he will share with as many people as possible, especially families and other aspiring artists, so he can create a community for artists, by artists.
