Colombia is a beautiful and wild place full of danger and adventure. This is the story of my travels through the country and how I put down roots. I want to tell every person who asks me "so, how did you meet your husband"....to just go read this book. Moving to Colombia presented many challenges and difficulties that I have learned to adapt to and overcome. I will share them with you as I experienced countryside, culture, and Colombian life first as an English teacher, and later as a mother and resident. Going to Colombia has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life.

I am a mother, a wife, a career woman, and a writer. I live with my husband and son in the Coffee Axis of Colombia. I love horses, good chocolate and a nice wine. In my free time I practice Pilates, cook scrumptious recipes from Pinterest, play the guitar, and travel every chance I get.
