Description
When Kate Ross, RN case manager from Northwest General Hospital, learns of the death of a patient and the possibility that it's tied to an insurance company merger, she must learn to regard her co-workers as suspects—even as her romantic entanglement with one of them deepens… As Kate unravels the facts, and as more patients die, the threats to her own safety loom larger. She needs to determine—and fast—if she's fallen for a killer, and uncover the truth before it's too late.
About the author
Marilyn Esper Kelsey grew up in Vermilion, Ohio before moving to New Jersey, where she finished nursing school and became an RN. She married and raised three children before moving with her husband to Charleston, where she continued her nursing career. After becoming a grandmother, she and her husband moved back North. She retired after 45 years of nursing, but a love of medical thrillers inspired her to begin writing a hospital murder mystery. She draws from her own experiences with doctors, nurses and hospital staff, and while some characters are greatly exaggerated, readers will never know which ones—and she's not telling! In 2016, she published an early grade children's chapter book, "Missy's Lowcountry Adventure." She has been a member of several writers groups, including a chapter group in Charleston, The SC Writers and Illustrators, Rehoboth Writer's Guild, and the Mystery Writers of America.
