Description
The second part of The Legend of Kyla Kidd finds our heroine searching the oceans, jungles, and towns of Caribdus for the trail of her long-lost father—and his mysterious treasure! In this part of the tale, Kyla makes new friends in the fantastic world of Caribdus—including a Chinese wind mage, a massive walrus-man, and a vengeful, sleek-skinned Doreen. She’ll need them, because the quest for her father’s mysterious treasure leads her straight between the Royal Navy and the vengeful crew of the Hades Coral! Written by Tony Lee and beautifully illustrated by Richard Clark. From the 50 Fathoms roleplaying game, available at www.peginc.com
About the author
Tony Lee is a game designer (not a pirate) originally from Taiwan (an island not known as a pirate haven) who has managed to swag booty in the form of a couple Origins Awards with his escapades. In his career he has sailed for such flags as Wizards of the Coast, Margaret Weis Productions, Z-Man Games and, of course, Pinnacle Entertainment Group as a freebooter--and has not been hung for it (yet). The 50 Fathoms stories are his first fiction series to ever survive the project-management kraken that sent all previous like endeavors to Davy Jones' Locker before they saw the light of day--which prompted a round of loud "Shiver me timbers!" from his current hideout in Redondo Beach, California.
