About the author

D.B. Sybert is a mother and when her children were young she was always looking for books that would talk to children about making mistakes and about real life. They were few and hard to come by so she told her children stories about their stuffed animals. Then due to surgery this little darling Monkey came into her life and has been her inspiration. They have so much fun and she is always telling people about him since he travels all the time with her. They have traveled over Europe and one of his upcoming books will be about the trips. His books will be written in a series so get ready for all the adventures of Monkey. Monkey always says that his life is due to his Mom's imagination. D.B. Sybert would love for ever parent to get one thing out of her books and that is "children make mistakes and they have big imaginations". Parents must see this understand and help their children to control their behavior while still enjoying life and growing into adults.
